I'll refer to the album: volume 11 ("Ciel du Corée/In Korea"), page 34.
The image ought to be an item in a subject about the first sign of the first name of Jerry Tumbler in the Buck Danny series. Because of suddenly bad weather (thunderstorm) I had to discontinue, and when I wanted to finish the subject, the post was closed.

Jerry Tumbler appeared in the Buck Danny series in 1949 (album #3) and was only called Tumb or Tumbler, only his pals Buck Danny and Sonny Tuckson had from the beginning a first name.
In 1954 (22.6.54/June 22, 1954 to be exactly) both Charlier as well as Hubinon became father on the same day (and used the birthday in the title of album #15 "NC 22654 didn't answer"). PRESUMABLY when they had to find a first name for their baby's, both noticed that one of their protagonists (Jerry Tumbler) had no first name also.
In the same year (1954) we may see for the first time a sign of the first name of Jerry Tumbler: an initial "J" on a Navy rain coat: in the pre-publication of album #13 in the weekly comic maqazin Spirou n°837 from April 29,1954: page B.284A and better visable on page B.285A.
We may see initial "J" again much better in album #15 "NC 22654 didn't answer" from 1957, page NC.3A: on the back of his flight jacket. See the image below.
And on Jerry Tumbler's flight helmet we for the first time see the initial "J" in album #22 (or pre-publication of this story in Spirou n°1055, July 4, 1958): page, 5, 6 and 10.

Jerry Tumbler's full name was for the first time mensioned in a Buck Danny parody called "C'était en '38/It was in '38". Made in 1969 and published in a Spirou from 1970 and a Tout Buck Danny bundle in the 80s also. Since then we more often may see Jerry Tumbler's full name in this series.
Summary: about 20 years after his appearance in the Buck Danny series, Jerry Tumbler's full name was known to the readers.

Victor Hubinon wrote on the drawing: ""Because of a badly wounded man, who sends his best greetings from his sickbed (aka sufferbed)".
Hubinon had a broken arm caused by a car accident (again he was drunk). Era Buck Danny album 35 (other [bad] drawer then took over many pages).
Francis wasn't Francis Bergèse, presumably a fan indeed.

"Les Oiseaux Noirs/The Black Birds", update.
Fredèric Zumbiehl and Frederic Marniquet, the scenario team of Buck Danny Classic 3 and 4 (dyptich), have finished the unfinished scenario of "The Black Birds" by the late Jean-Michel Charlier from 1988.
Francis Bergèse had allready in 1989 drawn 16 pages of this unfinised story and he is content with the recent fisnshed scenario. He will draw page 17 - 48 of the first part of this dyptich, but isn't sure of drawing part II as he then will be age 75.
Also uncertiain at the moment if "The Black Birds" will be Buck Danny volume 55 and 56, or will be a speciall edition because of the 70th Buck Danny anniversary in 2017.

Two errors in the drawings so far:
1. cover art: Danny is wearing a F-35 outfit, however his JHMCS helmet is from a F-15, F-16, F/A-18A;
2. the Chinese J-20 jet on page 1 and 2 has been drawn wrong on both sides.

No 100% error, but regarding the colours, the shades are rather weird: from dark to extremely bright on the edges.

It seems that Jean-Michel Arroyo tries to copy the drawing style of Victor Hubinon and Gil Formosa the drawing style of Francis Bèrgese.
By-the-way, Bergèse is still waiting for Publisher Dupuis-Brussels to continue drawing the unfinished Les Oiseaux Nois/The Blackbirds by the late scenarist Jean-Michel Charlier from 1988. In 1989 Bergèse drew only 16 pages of this dyptich.
Early 2015 the French scenarist duo Fréderic Zumbiehl and Fréderic Marniquet have finished Charlier's scenario.
