The Last Hunt (Amigo Comics)

Hi guys!

My name is Hannu Kesola and I'm a comic book writer and inker from Finland. Some of you might have read my stories in Swedish in Serimix.

I have new series, THE LAST HUNT, coming that is now available for preorders on the Previews catalog. If you want to order it, you can do it by mailing to Comics Heaven (info@comicsheaven.se) and hopefully it will be available in other Swedish comic book shops too.

It is a four issue scifi/horror series where a routine run to the dry wasteland known as Earth goes bad when the cargo ship Ragzon, breaks down. But that's nothing compared to the nightmare its crew faces when they help out a trio of scientists on their last legs. No good deed goes unpunished in "The Last Hunt"!

When it comes out in June, I would love to hear your thoughts about it:)

Thank you for the interest! It will run for four issues and come out every month from June till September. And each issue will be available for preorder from Previews, starting from April.
At the moment I don't know if it will be collected. I would hope to see it as tpb too but we don't have any contract about that yet.

http://www.prempa.nu/ is another way to get american published issues in sweden. Although it works better for you when you get a lot of stuff every month since it's a subscription type service.

Thank you for sharing that page! By the way, as a little off topic, is there comics by Swedish creators on US direct market at the moment that I could order in Finnish comic shops?

Oh Yes, I should have remembered Andersson and Bergkvist was illustrator on The Creeps and did some work with Neal Adams? Nice to see that you have DC level talent in Sweden too!

There is still few days to pre-order the first issue if someone would like to try it:)
I've contacted over 400 comic shops around the world with samples and We've got great feedback. Hope it would be even a small hit:)

The Last Hunt #1 was supposed to come out few weeks ago but Amigos shipment to Diamond was delayed at US customs. The latest info is that it should come out sometime during this month.
Would there be any Swedish sites or blogs that could be interested in doing a review about the first issue?
